2002 Movie ‘Sharon Stone’ Makes An Appearance On Atlanta

Sharon Stone, a 2002 movie starring Nollywood sweetheart Genevieve Nnaji, made a surprise appearance on episode 6 of the ongoing third season of FX’s Atlanta (s03e06).

The scene in focus sees the movie playing at a Naija restaurant LaKeith Stansfield’s Darius Epps visits for a meal. In the film-within-a-film is a bevy of some old Nollywood stars such as Emeka Enyiocha, Peter Bruno, and Kunle Coker.

Even though it’s mostly been forgotten now, Sharon Stone was pretty popular upon its release in 2002 and was one of the movies that helped cement Genevieve Nnaji into the god status she wields to this day.
