Onyeka 
The 2022 Headies Awards will see the addition of three new categories, Digital Artist of The Year, Best Inspirational Single, and International Artist of The Year, organisers announced earlier.
All three new categories will be decided by fan votes. The nominee list was unveiled on Wednesday, June 15 including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Ed Sheeran, Chris Brown, Drake and more. Check out the full list below.
Digital Artist of The Year:
This will be decided by fan votes and awarded to an individual Nigerian artist or group with the most outstanding achievement and impact digitally in the year under review.

- CKay
- Davido
- Joeboy
- Rema
- Wizkid
The Best Inspirational Single:
This will reward a Nigerian artist or group with the most inspiring performance and positive impact on people. The nominees are:
- KCee & Okwesili Eze Group – Cultural Praise Vol. 1
- Timi Dakolo – Everything (Amen)
- Chidinma – Jehovah Overdo
- Mercy Chinwo – Onyedikagi
- Dunsin Oyekan – Yah
- Nathaniel Bassey – You Are Mighty/Olorun Agbay
The Best International Artist of The Year:
This will reward a non-African artist or group with the most outstanding achievement and impact on Afrobeats- the sound of modern day Africa. The inaugural nominees include:
- Beyonce
- Chris Brown
- Drake
- Ed Sheeran
- Justin Bieber
- Nas
