Lil Wayne’s set at Rolling Loud California saw plenty of surprise guests keeping attendees entertained. Acting as the festival’s special guest headliner, Wayne didn’t hesitate to bring big energy to the stage. Among those joining him was 2 Chainz, who went all out as the pair rapped their fan-favourite collaboration, “Duffle Bag Boy.”
The Louisana-born artist also surprised the crowd by tapping Gudda Gudda to join him for the YMCMB classic, “Bed Rock,” and he wasn’t the only rapper who showed out on his verse. Nicki Minaj also showed up to support Wayne, joining him for their throwback hit, as well as some more recent collaborations.
“Truffle Butter,” which dropped in early 2015, was on their setlist, as well as a few solo tracks from the Queen of Rap herself.
Lil Wayne and Nicki teamed up for “High School,” taking us way back in time to 2013. She also gave an energized performance of last year’s “Super Freaky Girl,” and reportedly planned to give the audience more, but wasn’t able to due to issues with the DJ’s audio.
