Most Americans anticipate the Super Bowl for the final playoff game of the NFL but the rest of us on this side of the World anticipate for two reasons, Super Bowl halftime performances and more importantly, Trailers, Blockbuster movie trailers!
This year’s Super Bowl playoffs are about nine days away and Deadline has so graciously released a list of all movie trailers scheduled to drop on that day. Here’s a list of eight of them we’re most excited for.
1. Fast X

Dominic Toretto and his band of brothers family are returning to the big screen again this year in Fast X and come 13th, we’ll get our very first look. Rumor has it that the first trailer for the film could be over 3 minutes long!
Asides from Jason Momoa and Brie Larson featuring, and Gal Gadot’s character Gisel possibly being raised from the dead, not much is known about the tenth installment in the now cash-grab franchise. Hopefully, by the 13th, that changes.
Fast X releases in theatres on 19th May, 2023
2. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Anyone who fully caught up on the Disney+ series Loki early last year will tell you they’re counting down the days until Kang’s conquest begins, and shot at all of Jonathan Majors as the next MCU big bad will always be welcome.
Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania releases in theatres on February 17th.
3. Guardians of The Galaxy Vol, 3

We also get another look at Peter and the Guardians’ last adventure, and hopefully a closer look at Will Pouter as Adam Warlock. Maybe a glimpse of his powers too, if that’s not too much to ask, James.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 releases in theaters on Mary5, 2023.
4. The Flash

The first look at Ezra Miller in his first solo outing as The Flash in DCU is one many will be eager to see considering all the controversy surrounding the actor and the film in recent months.
With new DC head, James Gunn having dubbed the upcoming film “the greatest superhero movie ever made” and the revelation that the events in the film permanently resets the DCU, fans most certainly cannot wait for the first trailer.
The Flash features Ezra Miller, Kiersey Clemmons, Michael Keaton, Michael Shannon, and Ben Affleck.
It releases on June 16, 2023
5.The Super Mario Bros

The first trailer was met with some criticism, particularly of Chris Pratt’s voicing of the beloved Mario. With a second we get to see if fans are still fuming or have simply accepted and moved on.
The Super Mario Bros brings to life the story of how Mario travels through underground labyrinth with his brother, Luigi, trying to save a captured princess.
Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Seth Rogen, Ana-Taylor Joy, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key all provide voices.

A new trailer will also offer viewers their first look at Jonah-Haure King as Prince Eric, Daveed Digs as Sebastain, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, amongst others.
The Little Mermaid releases in theatres on May 26, 2023.
7. Scream VI

A second trailer for Scream VI is also expected to drop om Super Bowl Sunday. We get to see the Carpenter’s quest for a new life in New York city cut short when they are hunted by yet another Ghostface.
Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Samara Weaving, and Courtney Cox, amongst others are set to star. It releases on March 10, 2023.
