‘A simple Favour’ Starring Blake Lively And Anna Kendrick Is Getting A Sequel

If you enjoyed the 2018 film A Simple Favour, starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, then you’re in luck. Lionsgate has announced a sequel to the movie and confirmed that both stars will be returning. Director Paul Feig, who helmed the first movie, will be returning as well.

Lionsgate will be teaming up with Amazon Studios to make this sequel.

A Simple Favour was based on a 2017 novel of the same novel. The movie followed the story of a widowed single mother named Stephanie (Anna Kendrick) who becomes enamoured with her best friend, Emily (Blake Lively), who has a successful career, a loving family, and a glamorous lifestyle. However, things turn awry when Emily mysteriously disappears one day, causing Stephanie to launch her own investigation into her friend’s past, finding more than a few surprises along the way.

The movie took home a sizable $97.6 million in box office revenue, but against its $20 million budget, it was a financial success.
