After a very eventful 2022, EbonyLife Studios is set to begin conquering the new year. A Sunday Affair is their next movie billed to arrive on Netflix this Valentine’s Day.
Set against the backdrop of Lagos, two best friends, Uche (Nse Ikpe-Etim) and Toyin (Dakore Egbuson-Akande), fall in love with Sunday (Oris Erhuero), a charming, yet flawed eligible bachelor. A love triangle ensues with the women unaware that they are dating the same man.
This romantic drama stars some of Nollywood’s finests, including but not limited to Nse Ikpe-Etim (“Fifty”) Dakore Egbuson-Akande (“Fifty”), and Oris Erhuero (“Road to Yesterday”), Alexx Ekubo (“Weekend Getaway”), Uzor Osimpkpa (“Fifty”), Chris Iheuwa (“Rattlesnake”) and Hilda Dokubo (“Accidental Affair”).
A Sunday Affair is written by Darrel Bristow-Bovey (Inside Story) and directed by Walter Taylaur (Jolly Roger).
