Popular Nigerian actor, filmmaker, and producer Ernest Obi took the popular social media #ThrowBackThursday challenge by storm, sharing a poster of one of his classic home videos ‘Till Death’.
‘Till Death’ was a horror thriller written and directed by Obi who also played a starring role in the movie alongside now veteran actors Pete Edochie, Charles Okafor and so on.
Recalling the events that transpired for the film’s success, Obi wrote on Instagram: “TILL DEATH…Wrote. Produced And Directed This In D Early/mid 90’s. I Remember running stark naked on D Streets Of Festac for This Movie. The poster itself…hmmmm. Way Ahead Of D Period.#mindsetiseverything.”
51-year-old Obi who now spends more time behind the scenes investing and directing, specialized in psychological thrillers and horror films. He has over a hundred movie involvements in Nollywood, and certainly played his part as one of the actors and filmmakers that contributed to the formation of the modern film industry in Nigeria.
