Nigerian veteran actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima is making her much awaited return to the screens after a while away. Her last appearance was notably in 2016 where she took up the role as ‘Angela’ in Izu Ojukwu’s historical film, ‘76.
The former Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president recently shared BTS images from her latest project where she plays the role of Mary Slessor, the Scottish Presbyterian missionary who stopped the killings of twin children and fought for the rights of women.
“Blessings always. I feel like I am playing myself in The Passion Of Mary Slessor. I am Glad I am back to Filming!! I need all your Support, Love and Prayers.” She wrote.
She also mentioned that this was her most challenging role yet as an actor.
Directed by Moses Eskor and titled ‘Passion of Mary Slessor’, the upcoming film will see Fiberesima star alongside Zack Orji, King Bassey, Segun Arinze, and Moses Armstrong. The film is currently being shot at Uyo, Capital city of Akwa Ibom.
