Nollywood mogul, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, popularly known as Mercy Johnson in a series of posts obtained via social media narrated how her 8-year-old first daughter and child was being bullied by a certain school teacher. According to Johnson’s post, the said teacher also stated outrightly to the child that she doesn’t like her mother.
“Since when is it a crime to be Mercy Johnson-Okojie’s daughter?” the actress started off the post.
“Before I consider myself a public figure, I am first a wife and mother to my 4 kids, that is my priority in this life, and nobody can make my child feel less than who she is because her mother is a public figure,” she continued.
She further detailed her daughter Purity’s love for school and how she was one of the best-behaved pupils at her former school, which she only left due to distance.
“Because of this school teacher, my daughter is afraid to go to school everyday,” continued the post.
She ended the post by saying that another teacher is aware of the case and the matter has now been tabled before the school’s management.
“We reported this incident to the deputy head teacher as the head teacher was absent, and they promised me they would handle the situation urgently. I am waiting for the outcome of this.”
