Renowned Nollywood star, Tina Mba is one actress whose stellar performances need more appreciation!
Having been in the movie industry for almost 2 decades, the actress has featured in numerous A-list projects including TV shows and movies.
She has also received multiple awards and nominations, and was nominated at the 7th Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, the 2017 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) for Best Actress in a Comedy Role, and at the Best of Nollywood Awards for Best Supporting Actress.

Here, Mba potrayed the role of a mother who detests her daughter Aiye played by Bisola Aiyeola, as a result of the painful past that brought about her birth.
#3. Omo Ghetto: The Saga
In Omo Ghetto, she easily interprets her character as Mrs Benson, the mother to the twins Lefty and Ayomide, potrayed by Funke Akindele. Mba is an apprehensive mother who does everything in her power to keep her family in one piece.
#4. Fine Wine
In Seyi Babatope’s Fine Wine, Mba embodies the role of a typical Nigerian mother whose only concern is her two daughters getting married quickly.
#5. Isoken
Here, she plays the role of an overbearing mother who continuously tries to matchmake her unmarried daughter, Isoken (Dakore Egbuson).
