Gold is back, however, with ‘Party No Dey Stop’– his first single of 2023, and it arrives with a lyric video that showcases the creative process of the record. The party starter is produced by Kel P, and his quintessential touch is felt throughout the song.
In addition to the song’s groovy instrumental, Adekunle Gold and Zinoleesky combine to a delightful effect. The singers inspire celebration and escapism with their feel-good lyrics. It is made even better by Gold and Zino’s unique timbre, with the latter dropping the kind of punch lines that announced him to Nigerians and the world of street bop.
Gold shared last year, just after the release of his latest album ‘Mercy’ that he battled and survived sickle cell disease. He’s clearly hungover from that victory, living his best life and leaving crumbs of it for fans to see through his music. 5 Star!
