American pop and RNB singer Adele is returning to the music scene, announcing she would be dropping a new single later this month, on the 15th of October to be precise. It would be the “Hello” singer’s first solo effort in 5 years.
Adele, 33, announced via Twitter that the song title is “Easy on Me.” The announcement comes amid intense fan speculation that the new project, sparked by real billboards showing nothing but the number 30, which were installed in several major cities and which matched her new profile pictures on Twitter and Instagram might be suggesting a new album is on the way.
Adele’s last album was 2015’s “25.” The singer typically titles her albums with numbers that reflect the age she wrote them. In 2016 she released three singles from the album, including “Water Under the Bridge.” The next year, the album won two Grammy awards for “Album of the Year” and Best Pop Vocal Album.”
Since the release of 25, Adele, whose last name is Adkins, got married and then divorced from entrepreneur Simon Konecki. If it keeps the pattern with her previous works, the new album will reflect this time in her life when she was 30 years old. The Brit is currently dating Rich Paul, a high-powered NBA agent who represents Lebron James and Anthony Davis.
