Asake hints new song

Check out this sweet video that Asake dropped on his Twitter page in the wee hours of Sunday morning. He’s dropping bars in a mix of English and Yoruba, totally vibing to the beat of his new song.

He sings, “Ere mo bawa kosi ja/Sokoto penpe aye nika/yebo yeba formation lo ba aye ja/omo iya ko stay wise/tranquility tranquility I no get time to dey form activity/ko le kalas to fine stability,” and drops some real truth bombs about money, reality, and being your best self with agility.

“Money lo ni infinity/kosi chances kosi probability to see a better version of me with agility/no you can’t fake reality/ogun principality and calamity motilo mo ti payen ti/bebe no dey for jiji/mo si n wa ntiti/still ke money like fitting dripping like vigil I be real gee/oh oh oh oh oh/2:30 fe lu oya ka tun up ki lee too mo.”

The caption of the post reads, “What’s the chances, what’s the probability to see a better version of me with agility.” Word, man.

Asake is a complete vibe, and it’s no wonder he’s been making music from a very young age. He started out just freestyling on social media, and he even caught the eye of Broda Shaggi, who featured him in some of his skits.

Since then, Asake has been blowing up big time, dropping hits like Sungba, Peace Be Unto You, Organise, Terminator, and Yoga. He’s even worked with some of the biggest names in Nigerian music, like Burna Boy, Fireboy, and Tiwa Savage.
