Asake’s success streak in 2022 has been both unprecedented and marvelous, the YBNL man’s debut album Mr Money With The Vibe has proved it isn’t only commercially successful but also internationally recognised. MMWTV has earned a place on the Billboard 200, debuting at #66 in this weeks chart.

This achievement recorded is no small feat as Mr Money With The Vibe, becomes only the fourth ever highest charting Nigerian album after Burna Boy‘s Love, Damini which debuted at #18, Wizkid‘s Made In Lagos which debuted at #28, and Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning Twice As Tall which debuted at #54.

Asake’s Mr. Money With The Vibe is barely two weeks old, and has set new records for streaming, becoming the African album with the highest first-day streams and three-day streams respectively. It is also doing remarkably well on the charts with the 12 songs on the album occupying the top 12 spots on Apple Music Nigeria in the first 48 hours of its release.
