Atiku Calls Out Davido As The Reigning King Of Music

Former Vice President, and the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has described one of the top Nigerian artistes, Davido, as the reigning King of Music in Nigeria.

The video, as posted on Davido’s Twitter timeline, shows Atiku saying that Davido is the King of Music.

“At my youth, Fela was the King of Music, and believe me he was my favourite musician. And I made sure I attended all Shrine musical events throughout the night and till morning. But of course, currently, the reigning king is Davido.

Davido’s Reaction

Davido reacted to the PDP presidential aspirant on Twitter saying, “Our upcoming president knows wassup!!!! @Atiku God bless you Sir!!”

Davido had earlier received major accolades from Jamaican dance hall artist, Sean Paul, because of the former’s recent music achievements.

Sean Paul met Davido in London and said he is proud of all that Davido has achieved in the music scene.

” I had watched Davido performed when I came to Nigeria and I was proud of his achievements and success in the music industry”, he said on Instagram.

Davido recently recorded another major success in his career with his headline concert at the O2 Arena, where he performed in front of a large audience with 20,000 fans.

The artiste has recorded, produced, and written many hit wave songs and collaborates with other major artistes like Tiwa Savage, Naeto C, Skales, and other foreign artistes too.

In April 2012, Davido signed an endorsement deal with MTN Nigeria, while in October 2013, he partnered with Guinness Nigeria for the Guinness World of More concert.
