Atalanta rapper, Raqhid Rander, professionally known as Lil Keed has died at the age of 24.
Lil Keed had worked with Travis Scott, Young Thug and Chris brown on his last album Trapped on Cleveland 3 back in 2020.
His brother Lil Gotit confirmed news of the Atl rapper’s death, taking to social media to write, “Can’t believe I seened u die today bro I did all my cries I know what u want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy.”
Keed had been due to perform in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 14.
He was the youngest of seven children and was signed to Young Thug’s label, YSL (Young Stoner Life), and 300 Entertainment.
Lil Keed had spoken out in support of Young Thug earlier this week after the YSL founder was arrested and charged over gang-related crimes.
With all of the stress that YSL has endured this week, Keed’s loss is an even heavier hit. The 24-year-old father first found his footing in the industry back in 2017 and was pushing forward with a promising career as one of YSL’s standouts with his Trapped in Cleveland series as well as his applauded debut studio album, Long Live Mexico. He will be missed by many, and may he find peace in the afterlife.
