Seriously, every crusader of the phrase’ “Not everything you see on social media is real,” will be loving how this story is unfolding. The make-believe was indeed of immense quality.
Yesterday, we reported that actor Jim Iyke revealed in an interview that his brawl with Uche Maduagwu was staged, and was used to promote his then upcoming movie ‘Bad Comments,’ Maduagwu later confirmed he was paid 4.8-million naira to appear in the promotion.
In a new Instagram video shared by ‘Bad Comments’ director Moses Inwang, fans can go behind the scene of the incident, to see what really transpired.
“As you guys can see, we all had fun doing this. it’s a skit, we designed it basically so that you guys will know that nothing that goes on social media is real. Okay! That’s what Bad Comments is all about,” said Jim Iyke in the video.
He continued by affirming that it wasn’t real, “Nothing is real, It’s not real. Stop living your life on social media. E no real!”
Inwang doubles up as the director of ‘Bad Comments’ as well as the man behind the cameras during the making of the skit. ‘Bad Comments’ released later on August 27, and has raked in over 66-million naira, putting it on number 34 of the top 100 grossing Nollywood films of all time according to Wikipedia.
