Episode 9 of the Big Brother Naija reunion spotlights the unusual relationship dynamic between Cross and Angel.

The show took off with a playback of some video clips of the duo flirting whilst in the house.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show’s host proceeded to asking questions about the videos and the current state of their relationship.

As expected, Cross and Angel agreed that the clips only showed a platonic friendship between two people who enjoyed each other’s company despite the presence of sexual tension.

They went on to share how their relationship went sour after the house over lack of mutual affection.

The 22-year-old accused Cross of being a “hypocrite” and a “gaslighter” who did not reciprocate the love and care she brought to their “usual friendship”

Although, she maintained they were no strings attached and they were friends with zero benefits, she hinted on a lengthy list of things she had done for the gym enthusiast, which were not requited.

They include cooking for him while he was ill, offering him money when he ran out of cash in Dubai, driving all through Third Mainland Bridge to cater for his deliveries and booking spa sessions when he was tired.

In reaction to Angel’s claims, Cross insisted on being a great friend and was always there for her in prayers.

He however, did not share a list of things he did to show affection but instead, stated how Angel would often “ghost” on everyone. The 31-year-old cited a particular scary situation when she went missing for days, only for her family and friends to involve the Police.

The pair concluded with not being interested in a friendship anymore.

Episode 10 would shed light on the relationship between Saskay and Jaypaul.
