Fans of Big Brother Naija have another 70 days to be cheerful as the 6th edition of the popular reality TV show titled Shine Ya Eye kicked off yesterday, July 24, 2021. Eleven male contestants were announced at the first launch event including actor Boma Akpore who is unarguably the biggest surprise of the show yet. As the show goes on, more details of the other contestants would emerge, of course.
However, the games and tasks are set to kick off as the female contestants have also now been unveiled at the second launch show.

The first of them is 21-year-old Angel. Angel is a lover of tattoos and covered up in about 11 of them. Nonetheless, fans can be rest assured they will see beyond those covers and learn more about Angel in the coming days.

Angel’s unveiling was followed by that of Peace. Peace hails from Cross River state and joined the Big Brother House as the 13th contestant. As she disclosed, Peace is a fashion designer, single and not ready to mingle, at least not yet.

Adamawan Jackie B was announced as the 14th housemate. Jackie is a single mother whose son allegedly encouraged her to participate in the show. She will certainly be hoping to make her proud as the case may be.

Moving on to the next female contestant, Tega comes from Cross River state and said disclosed she’s come to the house to sell her brand.

Arin is the sixteenth housemate, a sucker for rings with about 17 piercings. But that 17 is only because she closed another 7. Asides her love for jewellery, Arin is a curator who promises to entice the audience with her creative and expressive spirit.
29-year-old Maria from Imo state followed Arin’s unveiling. Maria is a real estate agent in the oil city of Dubai. Asides from selling landed properties, guess we’ll be finding out what other special things the Imolite can do.
Liquorose promises the house drama and Beatrice, the eighteenth housemate Port Harcourt is a fashion model. 30-year-old Princess, a taxi driver was revealed as the nineteenth housemate. Saskay and Nini are the final housemates to join the show rounding up the number of contestants for this season to 22.
However, there are wild card housemates posing as actual contestants in the house. Big Brother has dished out the first task of the season and it is to identify the two impostors. If the housemates eventually discover them, the cards will be instantly evicted at next weekend’s live show, but if they don’t, the wild cards get to stay on and play for the ultimate prizes.
