The first reactions for DCEU’s Black Adam are in and if they are anything to go by, Dwayne Johnson really is coming to save Warner Bros after all.
Black Adam had its first official screening yesterday and journalists, critics, and fans have nothing short of praise for Dwayne Johnson’s superhero debut on the big screens.
Directed by James Collet-Serra, Black Adam expolores Teth-Adam’s origin story, a Kahndaq slave who is bestowed godlike powers, turning him into one of Earth’s most powerful beings. While Black Adam takes on the DC villain Sabbac and the criminal organization Intergang, he must also fend off the Justice Society of America, the DCEU’s version of the famous Golden Age Team, comprising of Atom Smasher, Cyclone, Hawkman, and Doctor Fate.
