It’s been three years since the last season of Black Mirror arrived on Netflix. Thankfully, we have new updates on the long-awaited sixth season of the paranormal Sci-Fi show.
A non-exhaustive list of actors joining the cast for the new season has been unveiled. It includes Aaron Paul, Paapa Essiedu, Kate Mara, Josh Hartnett, Zazie Beetz, Danny Ramirez, Clara Rugaard, Auden Thornton, and Anjana Vasan.
Variety reveals that the cast has signed on already, so it’s official.
If you’re familiar with the names on this list, you’d recognize that Netflix isn’t slowing down on its commitment to keep featuring the best-of-the-best actors on Black Mirror. Over the course of its > 11 years on air, Black Mirror has featured actors of high caliber including Bryce Dallas-Howard, Daniel Kaluuya, Jon Hamm, Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Hayley Atwell, Miley Cyrus, Hannah John-Kemen, and Jesse Plemon, to mention but a few.
Black Mirror is a British television anthology series created by Charlie Brooker that features speculative fiction with dark and sometimes satirical themes that examine modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies.
