Adele was overcome with emotion when she picked up her 3rd award on the night, tearfully dedicating it to her son Angelo and ex-husband Simon Konecki.
In her acceptance speech for her third award on the night, she said: “I’d like to dedicate this album to my son and Simon, his dad. This album was all of our journeys, not just mine. My son has been so kind and gracious and patient with me over the last couple of years.”

Adele’s separation from philanthropist Simon Konecki was the major inspiration behind 30. “I’ve painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it. Home is where the heart is x,” revealed the mother of one in an interview shortly after the album’s release.
Adele also gave a big shoutout to producer, fellow Londoner, InFlo, for his support throughout the project.
