Former Chocolate City Records artist Brymo released his 8th and 9th studio album yesterday, September 9. The two projects are titled ‘Esan’ and ‘Harmattan and Rain’.
The singer/songwriter had earlier teased the two projects in an Instagram post, revealing the inspiration behind the artwork as well as the potential number of songs and format of release.
“Named for its position in numbers of my solo album releases, it will contain 9 or 18 songs, in a release of one or two separate albums accordingly.. I will share my truth like I have never done before, in seeking to paint, in words, and tune, melodies of dreams-come-true,” he wrote.
In a tweet, Brymo announced the albums, describing them as an “ode to every 1, to every SIGMA, woman and man, to order!.. This is homage to karma, and to the seasons!!!”

There are no features on the two albums, with all rendering and writing credits going to Brymo. However, all songs in ‘Esan’ were produced and mastered by Mikky Me Joses, while songs in ‘Harmattan and Winter’ were produced and mastered by Ezenwa Bigfootinyourface Ogbonna.
