Things take a different turn however when he’s forced to fight off several other goons on the train who turn out to want the same briefcase he’s been assigned to retrieve. It is based on the book ‘Maria Beetle’ by Japanese author Kōtarō Isaka. It was directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2) and featured an ensemble cast, including Brian Tyree Henry, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Joey King, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Bad Bunny, and Sandra Bullock.
Bullet Train was released theatrically on August 5 and raked in over $222 million at the worldwide box office. According to Sony, the star packed action comedy film will be available on digital come September 27, followed by 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD release on October 18. The home release is set to contain bonus features like deleted scenes, detailed look at the film’s impressive stunt work and audio commentary from director David Leitch, writer Zak Olkwicz, and producer Kelly McCormick.
Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, Bullet Train received high praise for its colorful cast and is high speed action so those unable to see Bullet Train in theatres, wouldn’t want to miss out the its home release.
