Burna Boy Says His Mum Gets Angry Over His Stance on Marriage

Burna Boy has said his mother and part-time manager Bose Ogulu hates whenever he mentions he’s never getting married.

Burna who’s been in a relationship with British rapper and singer Stephanie Victoria Allen, popularly known as Steflon Don for sometime now, shared the detail in a recent IG Story.

“My mum hates it so much whenever I tell her I’m not getting married. She turns red. My own issue is that now I’m too sure if I really mean it or I just say it to piss her off,” Burna wrote.

Perhaps Burna’s not really into the formalities that tag along with tying the knot. After the Grammy winner and his Brit girlfriend went publicly official in 2019, bruits alleged both lovers were involved in a secret engagement or even marriage, and those talks gained more traction when Steflon posed with what looked like an engagement ring in an Instagram post.

Burna even referred to her as wife when acknowledging the receipt of a neckchain gifted to him by Steflon.

“Look what my wife got me mehn. You see, you need a wife like my own, that’s the problem.”
