Onyeka As part of his Montefiore concert series, Grammy-wining Nigerian singer Burna Boy will be headlining his first ever show at the famous Madison Square Garden in New York City.
According to New York Times Music, Burna will be the fisrt Nigerian to headline a concert at the historical venue.
The show will take place on the 22nd of April 2022 and is entitled “One Night In Space.”
Burna Boy is also expected to headline another concert in the Geneva Arena, in Geneva, Switzerland on the 18th of March, also as part of the concert series.
The 30-year-old singer finally emerged victorious at the Grammys last year (2021) after narrowly missing out in 2020. Since his win, his stock has been on the rise, anchoring several high profile shows around the world and collaborating with several international acts.
