It would be a Nigerian trifecta at this year’s Afro Nation in Portugal, with Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido confirmed as headliners for the 3-day concert. Afro Nation is regarded as one of Afrobeats biggest festivals, featuring performances from an ensemble of local and international black musicians.
Burna Boy will open the show on Wednesday, June 28th. He will be supported by his popular Jamaican collaborator Popcan, and Nigerian singers Ayra Starr and Oxlade. Wizkid will take over the stage on the second day, Thursday, 29th June, with Asake, Victony, Ms Banks, Black Sherif, Little Simz, and Bnxn (fka Buju) deputizing. The last day, Friday, 30th June, will see Davido close out the event with an ensemble of international acts that include 50 Cent, Booba, Gyakie, Sauti Soul, and Fireboy DMl.



There’s also a Piano People Stage ensemble that includes DJ Focalistic, Major League DJz, Scorpion Kings, Uncle Waffles, and Musa Keys.



In 2022, Omah Lay, Bnxn, Wizkid, Burna Boy were some of the Nigerian stars that pulled up to the Afro Nation stage.
Afro Nation returns to the Atlantic beaches of Algarve, Portimao, Portugal on June 28, lasting through June 30. Tickets are now on sale HERE.
