A few days ago, Nigerian singing sensation Chike released the first of several singles expected to drop before the full roll out of his forthcoming second studio album titled “Brother’s Keeper.”
The song is titled “Nwoke Oma” and the Afropop senasation has now followed its release on digital platforms with a fine visual.
Directed by Director Pink on PinkLine Films, the music video opens with a cryptic message and references alluding to the record and album’s eponym, in what appears to be a cemetery and the honouring of a loved one’s memory.
On the record, Chike sings about the reality of life and how people often want to associate with success but don’t replicate the same energy during the journey to being successful.
