American pop and R&B icon Chris Brown has scored his 56th RIAA Gold certification, thanks to his 2022 single: “Call Me Everyday,” which featured Nigerian Afrobeats giant Wizkid. With this new achievement, Brown has also extended his record as the male singer with the most Recording Industry Association of America certification with the most Gold certifications– 55, leading his nearest rival Elvis Presley (54) with two.
“Call Me Everyday” released via Brown’s tenth solo album “Breezy”. It is one of four singles lifted from the album and is the first track on the project. With over 500K copies of the record now sold, Brown’s total sales in the US moves up to 92.5 million, making him one of the bestselling musicians in digital history.
