British star Daniel Kaluuya has revealed he won’t be in the anticipated Black Panther sequel which will premiere later this year because of scheduling conflicts.
The Get Out star blamed this on clashes with shooting commitments to Nope, an upcoming Jordan Peele movie where Kaluuya plays the lead alongside Keke Palmer and Steven Yeun.
Kaluuya played W’Kabi, the best friend and confidant to T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), and the head of security for the Border Tribe, in 2018’s Black Panther.
Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever is expected in cinemas starting November 11, 2022. Following the death of lead Chadwick Boseman, not much is yet known about how the story would progress, but we suspect Letitia Wright’s Shuri will take the lead now.
