Deborah Ann Woll who played Karen Page in Netflix’s Daredevil series has addressed her possible reprisal of the role in the forthcoming MCU series Daredevil: Born Again coming to Disney+.
Daredevil enjoyed a very successful three season run on Netflix between 2015 and 2018, before getting axed by the streamer along with other Marvel comic TV shows airing on the streaming service. A revival officially titled Daredevil: Born Again is already in the works at Disney+ with the hero set to become integrated into the MCU following several well received cameo appearances. So far Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk are the two characters from the original series confirmed to reprise their roles in the MCU with Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle rumored at one point.

Deborah Ann Wall played Karen Page, a client who went on to become an assistant at Nelson and Murdock, a role she reprised in Punisher and The Defenders. Following her appearance, Karen Page went on to become one of the shows most loved characters with Deborah Ann Woll receiving plenty of praise for how she fully embraced the character, playing her in her own style distinct from the comics iteration. Since the official announcement of Daredevil: Born Again, fans have been yearning for Deborah’s return to the new Daredevil series and for the first time, the actress addressed the possibility of a comeback.
In an interview with Collider to discuss her podcast, Truest Blood, Deborah Ann Woll addressed the possibility of a return and the characters integration into the MCU. She expressed her hopes of getting a call back as she feels there’s “so much more story to tell”
“So, I mean, it means so much to me. I love that character so much and I do miss it. I really felt like we were unfinished. We had so much more story to tell. So yeah, it’s really gratifying to see how much people love her and want to see more from her. I hope I get to. I’m here. They know my number. I’m available, as far as I know. But it’s up to them. I know they’re going to tell the best story that they know how to tell. And if that includes Karen Page, that will be so exciting. But if it doesn’t, I will be a happy viewer.”
