German multinational corporation, designers and manufacturers of athletic and casual footwear, apparel, and accessories confirmed on Wednesday, 29th December that Nigerian musician Davido, has become the latest star to join their ambassadors family.
The announcement came via a Twitter post, with two photographs of Davido donning a black Puma apparel and footwear.
“Newest member of the #PUMAFam getting straight into the T7 & Suede combo. Welcome to the family @davido.”



Puma, according to Wikipedia, is the third largest sports manufacturer in the world, only behind fellow German manufacturers Addidas and American company Nike. They are the current kit sponsors of top European clubs including current English champions Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Valencia, and AC Milan.
They also signed a record breaking sports endorsement deal with Brazilian superstar Neymar in 2020, the amount reportedly nearing 25 million Euros per year. In Africa, they’re the kit sponsors of the Ivorian, Ghanaian, Egyptian, and Senegalese national teams.
