Davido may have just ended his cousin’s political career before it even began. In a controversial tweet on Tuesday, January 18, the 29-year-old singer shared his disapproval with a certain Dele Adeleke, who happened to have made public his interest in running for the Osun state governorship position. Their uncle Senator Ademola Adeleke also intends vying for the same position, both under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“Wonderful! Me I finished uni with a 2:1. But it’s now cousin dele who struggled to even get a 2:2 that is now forming “intellectual”. Intellectual that has not succeeded in building one single thing in his life on his own. This life ehn! Osun beware of FAKES! @deleadeleke001,” tweeted Davido, who didn’t hold anything back.

Senator Adeleke had run for the governorship election in 2018, but lost out to the present Osun state Governor, Oyetola Gboyega via an election tribunal.
