Nigerian megastar Davido, put up a thrilling performance as guest artist at the famed London based o2 arena on a show headlined by American award winning rapper Travis Scott.
The sold out show in London on Saturday, 6th August 2022 was rapper Travis Scott’ first since the unfortunate accident at his 2021 Astroworld Tour in Houston that left at least 8 persons dead and multiple injured.
Travis brought out African megastar Davido who was received by an excited audience. He (Davido) dazzled the audience with some of his international hits such as ‘Fall’ and ‘If’.
This is really great time for Nigerian music at the international level, as Davido and a host of others has enjoyed massive international attention.
In 2022, Omah Lay performed his collaboration‘Attention’ alongside Justin Bieber during the American’s ‘Justice Tour’. Rema and Lojayshared the stage with Chris Brown in Afronation Portugal. While Burna Boy and Fireboy made guest appearances during Ed Sheeran’s Wembley Stadium concert.
All these are attestations to the heights Nigerian music can reach and more is expected to come.
