Onyeka Few hours after lamenting the cost of offsetting the tax and customs duty on his recently acquired Lamborghini, Davido has promised to to giveaway 20m Naira, the equivalent of about 48k in Dollars.
In an earlier tweet, Davido didn’t just decry the amount he was charged, but attributed the issue to the high inflation and terrible state of Nigeria’s economy, urging his 10 million folllowers to pray for Nigeria.
Up until recently, Nigeria was the poverty headquarter of the world according the United Nation’s poverty index before being overtaken by India.

Although he comes from a wealthy family, Davido has made philanthropy a habit. Back in 2021, he raised over 250m Naira through online donations and pledged the entire money to orphanage homes within the nation. That promise was redeemed in mid February.
