How long can wrong information make the rounds on social media? Do you know? The answer is, “until the people that have the right information decide to speak up.” Rumour spread a few days ago that Davido visited a certain recording studio, heard Victor AD working on a song, and stole the song from him. According to the sources, that song turned out to be Jowo, off Davido’s 2020 album, A Better Time.

Mediarants had been waiting for a reliable source to get in on the news before feeding you the spiciest information. Yeah, that’s what we do. Give you spicy and reliable information.

That said, our patience, and yours, has been rewarded. Victor AD himself has taken to Twitter to debunk the rumours. In a post made today, May 11, Victor said “

Omo no be me write JOWO for @davido I don’t know where all this is coming from. make una let baba celebrate him 10yrs in peace #olofofo

Victor AD REDEYE on Twitter: “Omo no be me write JOWO for @davido I don’t know where all this is coming from. make una let baba celebrate him 10yrs in peace #olofofo / Twitter”
