Long before starring in Netflix’s monster hit show Bridgerton and becoming a worldwide phenomenon, Rege Jean-Page was, like many others, a young, struggling actor. The actor had been in a few easily forgotten roles up until everything changed for him on Christmas Day 2020. One of these roles is a blink-it-and-miss character in 2010’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.
The scene in focus was at Bill and Fleur’s magical wedding. Rege Jean-Page can be seen in the background as one of the extras who helped bring the scene to life as wedding guests.

Now commanding 6.3 million followers on Instagram, choicy starring roles in big-budget productions, Rege has come a long way since that uncredited cameo to becoming one of the most recognizable faces in today’s Hollywood. Rumour even has it that he’s in consideration to take over the James Bond mantle from Daniel Craig.
Rege’s illustrious career might’s have experienced a rebirth with Bridgerton, but it’s definitely not stopping there.
Catch the star in Netflix’s The Gray Man on the streaming service later this July, where he stars in the Russo brothers’ latest movie alongside Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, and a host of other A-listers.
