In 1977, a special Cinderella movie saw a prince try several young women in his kingdom in his search for the one he met at a royal ball. This movie’s plot bore so much resemblance to a 1950 animated movie of the same title, only that this one was filled with live-action actors and had an erotic undertone.
The times haven’t been very kind to this movie people (especially Disney) would rather forget still exists in some dark cupboard somewhere, but try as one may, history like this can’t be completely erased. If you look hard enough, you might just find a copy for yourself.
Cinderella (1977) traced the misadventures of the titular heroine, who, via the help of her “fairy” godmother, is granted heightened sexual prowess to win over Prince Charming.
The movie was directed by Michael Pataki and starred Cheryl Smith as Cinderella. Supporting the cast is a bevy of mostly forgotten actor names including Jennifer Stace (Stepmother), Sy Richardson (Fairy godmother), and Brett Smiley (Prince Charming), to mention but a few.
