Don Jazzy Says He's Not Been On A Romantic Date Since 2019, Reveals The Kind Of Woman He Likes And More In Latest Episode Of 'Is This Seat Taken?' [Watch]

Don Jazzy is not getting undivorced, but he’s probably not getting hitched a second time any time soon after his appearance on the recent episode of ‘Is This Seat Taken?’ Jazzy was hosted by Chinasa Anukam, as both of them discussed relationships, including spec, red flags, and future plans.

The show began with Anukam literally and figuratively giving the music mogul a bouquet of flowers for his contribution to the progress and growth of Afrobeats–the modern Nigerian music industry in its nuanced form. The pair didn’t waste to go at it, beginning with Jazzy recalling that the last time he embarked on a romantic outing was in 2019.

He further revealed what dating him feels like, his preferred woman, and his red flags.

Jazzy admitted: “My spec in a woman in the order of importance. First of all, you have to be a freak. That’s one. I don’t know how I found that out but that’s it; it is one.”

“Two, you have to be soft both body and heart. Because if you shout at me, you’re dating yourself. I don’t like stress. I don’t like violence. If you make mistake and just do, ‘Jazzy is that how something…’, you’ll not see me again. “If you just raise your voice at me, you’ll just realize suddenly that you’re dating yourself.”

Jazzy has always kept his love life out of the public eye. Although, in April 2021, he revealed in an emotional Instagram post that he had indeed been married before, to the love of his life, best friend Michelle Jackson while he was 20, but the marriage suffocated due his pursuit of music. Sadly, Jazzy and Jackson eventually broke things off after 2 years.

Now 39, the Mavin Records boss remains one of Nigeria and Afrobeats most eligible bachelors.
