Nigerian singer and songwriter, Korra Obidi has lamented over being separated from her children following her imminent divorce from estranged husband, Justin Dean.

The music star appeared to be having a tough time via an Instagram live video where she cried out, saying that her kids were taken away by Dean for a week.

Don’t get divorced, get separated but divorce is not for the weak. You’re separated from your six months old for a wholr week, its not for the weak, its not,”

The mother of two disclosed that she tried to stay sane all week her children were taken away up until she saw strangers touching them.

I tried to keep my composure all week, but last night, I broke because I saw strangers touching my child, I just…I broke,”

Obidi’s rant is coming barely a month after her estranged husband revealed his new girlfriend.

The American-based chiropractor shared a video of a date night with his British-based Nigerian girlfriend via his Instagram stories.

The girlfriend referred to as Tokumbo Daniels is seen all loved up with Dean walking down the street.

It would be recalled that Dean shocked many admirers of their inter-racial marriage and announced a divorce from Obidi earlier in February 2022.

According to the father of two, he had been trying to save their marriage since 2018 despite the singer’s threats to divorce him. He also accused Obidi of infidelity, narcissism and lack of accountability.

The singer and her estranged husband, Dean tied the knot on December 17, 2017, and had their first daughter, June in 2019 and their second daughter, Athena in 2022.
