Drake’s new album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ will drop tomorrow, Friday 3rd September after several delays. A billboard displayed in the metropolitan city of Lagos Nigeria, Africa’s entertainment capital revealed exciting news that Nigerian singing sensation Tems will be featured on long-anticipated project.
A picture of the promotion surfaced social media and Media Rants followed it up with an eye witness inquiry which confirmed the advert was published via the JCDecaux billboard along Iyana Oworo bus stop linking the Third Mainland Bridge.
“Hey Nigeria Tems is on CLB,” read the billboard ad.
As part of promotion activities for CLB, Drake’s been using billboard ads in home cities of featured artists, to spur hype for the album.
On September 1, billboards were placed throughout the United States, with featured artists revealed on them according to their hometown. An Atlanta billboard announced 21 Savage, Future, Lil Baby, and Young Thug, a Chicago billboard announced Lil Durk, and a New York City billboard announced a ‘GOAT’ assumed to be Jay-Z, a Memphis billboard announced Yebba and Project Pat while Tems was announced on a Lagos, Nigeria billboard.
As for Tems, she’s having an incredible 2021, following up her impressive performance on Wizkid’s globetrotting song ‘Essence’ with a guest appearance on the Canadian-born rapper’s sixth studio album.
