Early Reactions To MCU’s 'Werewolf By Night' Positive, Called Best Entry In Phase Four Yet

Early reactions to Werewolf by Night, MCU’s seemingly experimental Halloween special has begun to roll in and so far, it’s been nothing short of excellent.

The horror special directed by Michael Giacchino sees Gael Garcia Bernal in the lead role of Jack Russel, one of several monster hunters invited to the Bloodstone castle following the death of its patriarch to engage in a deadly competition for a mysterious and powerful relic. The group find themselves pitted against a horrific creature all the while one among them may not who they seem. Development for Werewolf by Night began in 2021 and it was announced at the D23 Expo along with a promotional poster and the special’s first trailer.

With its Disney+ premiere about a week away, first reactions to the special have been nothing but positive with some calling it the best Disney+ project yet. Its received praise for its throw back vibe and its proper dive into horror. Check out some of the reactions below;
