The Afrobeat Hall of Fame is a huge step forward for Nigerian and African music, entertainment, and influencers of our popular culture.

Afrobeat Hall of Fame

Nigerian luxury, lifestyle, tourism, and hospitality consultancy firm, Estilo Da Vida has officially announced the date for the first Afrobeat Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. The event will hold on the 26th of February 2022 at the The Amore Garden, off freedom way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Africa’s largest exporter of music and entertainment media.

Like America’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Afrobeat Hall of Fame will pay homage to and bestow honour on African achievements in music.

Fela Media Rants

Plans for the award began late last year, following several round table discussions between Estilo Da Vida and other stakeholders, with the legendary jazz master, trumpeter, and activist Fela Kuti among the very first names considered for induction. Other names include late Highlife pioneer the great Chief Osita Osadebe, and Fuji master Sikiru Ayinde Barrister.
