Born Emuobonuvie Akpofure, ex BB Naija contestant Neo is the latest celeb to voice out his frustrations with men of the Nigerian Police.

In a series of tweets posted via his handle on Friday, 21^st May, Neo alleged he was extorted by police, narrating the incident happened while he was on his way to the Ikeja airport in Lagos.

Neo was among the 5 finalists of the 2020 BB Naija Lockdown edition. His relationship, otherwise, entanglement with fellow housemate, Vee particularly made the 26-year old popular.

Police intimidation and extortion led to the 2020 #EndSARS protests in Nigeria. The event which culminated in the October 20, 2020 Lekki toll gate massacre has since seen the dissolution of SARS. However, officers of the now defunct unit were transferred to other units of the NG Police.
