Fireboy DML Teases Fans with New Song

Fireboy DML is turning heads with a teaser of an unreleased song he posted on Twitter on Monday, March 13. DML posted a 1-minute-26-seconds video of him singing the unreleased song. Sporting his fat dreadlocks, he wore a face cap, a faded brown jacket and sunglasses, he sang over a disco-like pop instrumental: “take my time, don’t take my life/ do this right, it’ll change your life/ smoke and ganja, that’s you and I”.

The YBNL singer released his third studio album “Playboy” back in August last year, and the record featured hits ‘Bandana’ and ‘All of Us (Ashawo)’. He’s also popped up on a few collaborations, including a headline performance on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack album– ‘Coming Back For You’ — and Peruzzi’s latest release ‘Pressure’.

The untitled and unreleased song will be Fireboy’s first release of 2023. We can tell from how it sounds that Fireboy is not only targeting his local fans, but also his international audience. Just like he did with the world-beater, ‘Peru’, we may have another globetrotting DML record on its way, and fans think so too, A few of them have already started wondering which global superstar(s) the ‘Playboy’ singer would feature on the track.
