Fireboy’s “Peru” gets BRIT Gold Certification

Few days after being named the Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie for the month of March, YBNL Records act, Fireboy DML’s “Peru” has been certified gold in the UK.

The singer took to Twitter to celebrate the achievement with a picture of the plaque, writing “gold, baby.”

Fireboy DML soared high on the UK charts late last year following the remix of his globetrotting hit singe “Peru” with British singer Ed Sheeran.

According to the plaque awarded to Fireboy DML by BRIT, “Peru” has sold over 400k copies in the Uk.

The song has continued making waves around the world too, after going viral on TikTok.
