Todd Philips Reveals First Look At ‘Joker 2’ As Production For Sequel Officially Begins

The journey that is the production of Joker 2 has officially begun according to director Todd Phillips. 

Phillips who also co-wrote and directed the first film took to Instagram to share the very first look of the Clowned Prince of Crime in Arkham Asylum, with the sequel picking up shortly after the events of the first film.  

Joker: Folie à Deux, the musical sequel to 2019’s Joker is expected to hit theatres in 2024 with the likes of Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, and Zazie Beetz, amongst others set to star.

Amidst the massive revamp taking place within the DC Universe, the Joker-verse happens to be one of the few projects Warner Bros-Discovery intends to continue as is, together with Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
