31-year-old former Miss Uruguay pageant winner, Fatimih Davila Sosa was found dead in a Mexico City hotel.
The model won the Uruguay pageant in 2006, represented Uruguay in the 2006 Miss Universe pageant which took place in Los Angeles and also completed in the 2008 Miss World contest.
In a report by Spanish-language press, the hotel where she was found dead is located on Altadena street in Colonia Nápoles, Benito Juarez. She was found hanged and identified by city officials in the bathroom of a guest room. The prosecutor’s office confirmed that her death was a homicide and investigations has commenced towards unravelling the occurrence that led to her death.
Davila was reported to have arrived in Mexico City on April 23 for a job interview before incidence occurred.
