Future unveiled the track list for his highly anticipated ninth studio album “I Never Liked You” on April 27. The 16-track album features an ensemble cast including fast rising Nigerian singer Tems, American rappers Drake, Kanye West, Kodak Blak, Young Thug, and Gunna.

According to the list shared via Future’s Instagram handle, Tems and Drake make guest appearances on a track titled “Wait For U.”

“Wait For U” would see Tems and Drake collaborate for the second time in less than a year after 2021’s “Fountains” via Drake’s Certified Lover Boy project.

Future’s last album was 2020’s “High Off Life.” The album had 21 songs, with guest appearances from the likes of Drake, Meek Mill, Travis Scott and more and is certified Platinum by RIAA having moved more than 1 million copies.

The “Worst Day” singer triggered a couple of people on social media for his choice of title, given that fans have previously accused him of toxic masculinity and embedding concepts of misogyny within his lyrics.

Nonetheless, it’s been rumoured that “I Never Liked You” will have a sequel titled “I Never Loved You.” And while “I Never Liked You” will drop on April 29, we don’t quite know yet, when the rumoured sequel will be releasing.
