Fans of Grammy nominated artist, Wizkid better known as Wizkid FC have taken to Instagram to blast Angelique Kidjo after she won the Best Global Music Album Award over the Nigerian music star.
Wizkid was nominated in two categories — Best Global Music Performance (“Essence’) and Best Global Music Album (“Made In Lagos – Deluxe Edition”), in which he unfortunately lost out on both.
As a result, the dedicated fans took to the Beninese singer’s Instagram comment section, raining thoughts on how she was undeserving and robbed the Essence crooner of the award.
